About the course
"The course offers a unique and exciting opportunity to study applied art, design and studio crafts within a stimulating interdisciplinary studio and workshops programme. This covers a variety of surfaces and media including ceramics, glass, metal, wood, textiles and paper making. The course seeks to establish the value and application of individual creative expression by providing an interactive broad base from which the potential artist/craftsperson is encouraged to develop progressively in design, making and craft skills. Within a context of historical and contemporary practice, students develop the design, studio and workshop skills to equip them for professional opportunities in contemporary applied arts practice."
